Exclusive Services

At FAST Uganda, we are committed to helping children and families in Northern Uganda overcome challenges related to speech, language, hearing, and communication. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, combining clinical expertise with compassion and community-focused care.

Individual Therapy Program

After an assessment, each child begins therapy sessions one-on-one with a therapist. The therapy is tailored to the child’s specific needs.

Group Therapy Program

Children who have similar challenges are grouped for therapy. They learn from each other while the therapist guides them.

Parent Support Group

Parents of children with similar conditions come together to share experiences and learn from each other. They also receive health education and go through a three-week language training program to help support their child’s language development.

Cell Therapy Program

The FAST Cell Therapy Program brings therapy to local groups of parents in the same

community. This helps save on transportation costs, as many single mothers with children

who have cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or cleft lip and palate find it hard to travel for

every appointment. Parents gather in one place, and we provide therapy for their children in their community.

Outreach Program

Our outreach program includes visits to schools and communities where we provide health education talks on ear, hearing, speech, and language problems. We also offer screening and referrals for further help.

Ear & Hearing Program

We offer services for ear and hearing health, including:

- Ear and Hearing Education

- Hearing Tests

- Hearing Aid Fitting and Adjustments

- Hearing Aid Repairs

- Treatment for Ear Infections

- Hearing Protection and Conservation Programs.
